The Bad Cat Mod Shop Black Cat 30 is a limited-edition, handcrafted 30-watt tube amplifier designed by legendary amp designer Mark Sampson.

Key details include:

• Design & Origin: It is the first release from Bad Cat’s new "Mod Shop" series, representing a reimagining of the original Black Cat circuit. It is hand-built in Costa Mesa, California, and is considered one of the final projects touched by Mark Sampson.

• Specifications:

  • Power: 30 watts (up from the original 20 watts).

  • Tubes: 4 x EL84 power tubes and 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes.

  • Channels: Two channels (Clean and Overdrive) with independent gain and volume controls.

  • Features: Studio-quality reverb, bias-modulated tremolo, buffered FX loop, and custom hand-wound Bad Cat transformers.

  • Cabinet: Baltic birch construction. The combo version includes a custom UK-made 12" Celestion Bad Cat speaker.
