Made in Japan, the Jackson Stars KE-TN02STB/EMG Kelly in the striking Transparent Red finish.

The guitar is in very good condition overall. There is one larger chip on the end of one wing, while the rest of the guitar shows only tiny signs of regular use. Apart from this cosmetic damage, the instrument presents very well. The chip does not affect the guitar's functionality or structural integrity.

The KE-TN02STB/EMG features an alder body, maple neck-through construction, and a bound striped ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and sharkfin inlays. The neck-through construction provides excellent sustain and unrestricted access to the upper frets, while the 25.5" scale length delivers the fast and comfortable playing feel expected from a high-end Japanese-made Jackson.

It is equipped with a pair of EMG 81 active humbuckers, delivering powerful output, tight low end, excellent clarity, and strong definition under high gain. This configuration makes the guitar particularly well suited to hard rock and metal.

Additional features include a Tune-O-Matic fixed bridge with strings running through the body, Gotoh locking tuners, and high-quality Japanese hardware. The fixed bridge provides excellent sustain, tuning stability, and a direct playing response. The guitar features a straightforward control layout with master volume, master tone, and a 3-way pickup selector.

The KE-TN02STB/EMG is a particularly desirable version of the Japanese-made Jackson Stars Kelly. The combination of neck-through construction, active EMG pickups, ebony fingerboard, and a fixed string-through-body bridge makes it an excellent choice for players who want the high-end Kelly platform without the maintenance and setup requirements of a locking tremolo.
