Selling my Universal Audio LA-2A Classic Leveling Amplifier, purchased approximately three years ago.
It has been used exclusively in a home studio and has been well cared for. The unit is in excellent working condition and performs exactly as it should.
The LA-2A is one of the classic optical tube compressors, particularly great on vocals, bass, acoustic instruments, and anything that benefits from smooth, natural compression. It has a very simple control layout but adds a character and depth that is difficult to replicate.
I'm downsizing some of my studio hardware, so this one is available. Comes in original box.
