This is a nearly mint Gretsch USA Custom 6 piece kit in Candy Apple Red with direct to shell tom mounts in the following sizes: 10x8 rack, 12x9 rack, 13x10 rack, 14x14 rack, 16x16 rack, 22x16" kick drum ( I had a hole cut with a red protector ring installed at Pro Drum in Hollywood), and I have attached a video of me playing it so you can get a sense for how it sounds and looks on camera. For sale is the drums only, not the cymbals/snare or hardware (floor toms legs yes of course). The story is that I ordered this kit directly from Gretsch early this year to use for an upcoming tour, just received it, and have had it and been playing it in my practice room only for the last two weeks. While the kit feels and sounds INCREDIBLE and I love it, I already own two Brooklyn kits that I am emo attached to, and I found out that the tour that I ordered this kit and color for will not be carrying on next year. So rather than use it and get tour ware on it, I have decided to sell it now. It is basically in perfect shape, except the bass drum hoop has a small scuff from a cowbell mount and the 13" rack tom has a slight scuff from that cowbell rubbing agains it. I have included pictures of both. The bass drum hoop also has some sticky residue from the pedal protector I put on it but that will come off with some goo be gone. The 10" rack has a very faint scratch, almost cannot be seen but I tried to include a picture of it.

The value of a USA kit this size would be around $8,000 since it is a Gloss finish which take very long to make and are labor intensive, not to mention the wait is about a year long, and I had this made with these specific sizes and the direct to shell mounts as well which make it easier for putting mics on the kit without the rim system. I am not trying to make any money on this kit, just to recoup what I paid for it, so I am asking for $5,200. I realize this is still a high number, but significantly less than what a kit like this would cost new from a store. I have all the original boxes, packing material, and factory heads as well which I have put back on the kit. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or anything like that.
