1947-1955 Hohner 2815 2-row 21 button “press-wood” pokerwork diatonic accordion recently converted to C#/D using new Hohner factory “T” reed blocks. Accordion has new pallet facings, treble button travel is limited, new bellows gaskets, shoulder strap brackets and new reed blocks. Tuning is Hohner’s standard factory wide tremolo: (15-20c.) No case. No shoulder straps
C#D (along with BC) are ideal setups for Irish music on a 2-row accordion giving full chromatic capabilities with possibilities of a wide variey of ornamentation. BC is a bit more common mostly because it has been around longer, but C#D is likely easier to learn if you already have some familiarity with single-row diatonic playing.
My reason for selling this is because as I was waiting for the new reed blocks to arrive from the supplier I was offered a too-good-to-pass deal on a very nice (and $$$$) Castagnari...too late to change my order, and I don't really need two boxes.
