The TF11 uses a single-membrane, edge-terminated TK51S capsule inspired by the legendary CK12 design found in the classic Austrian C12 tube mic — giving it that open, airy top end and clear detail that vintage-mic fans love. It pairs this vintage-style voicing with a fast, ultra-low-noise Class A JFET amplifier and a UK-made Carnhill transformer for a modern, super-quiet signal path.
The result is a detailed, open sound with fast transient response — that classic airy Telefunken top end without any harshness. Especially good on vocals, acoustic guitar, drum overheads, and piano.
