this is #5 out of ONLY 5 made in this size - fantastic sounding, looking - loud, snappy, crack with body - Pecan is a hardwood, up there with Jarrah, Padauk and Hickory, but has its own unique tone and flavor, and this solid wood snare has more body and bright slap and punch than your normal 4" depth - very clean, woody sound (and look)
This very limited edition was made by Noble & Cooley for a Texas drum shop anniversary in 2021 - one of the rarest Noble & Cooley snares ever. Made from a fallen 200 yr old Texas pecan tree.
Bought new, babied, barely played for 15 minutes, not a finger print on it, never left non-smoking house
You can get a Wallflowers "One Headlight" sound out of this guy. Truly one of the best sounding snares
