Excellent Angel Drums Oak/Acacia segmented shell 14x6 natural satin finish snare drum - loud, sensitive, woody, crackin, full body and great with sticks or brushes - low profile Angel hoops, brass lugs, tension rods, throw off - light tarnish on some (not all) of the brass lugs, and badge, otherwise snare shell and hoops are perfect
Trying different heads can also give you great alternative woody voices from this snare
interestingly, small vent holes are beneath each lug
very funky, twisty custom throw-off, but works
ALL hardware and shell hand-made in Hungary by Angel Drums
Comes with high-end Canopus 20-strand snare wires, as well as FREE barely used Yamaha 25-strand wires ($40 value), plus FREE Tama drum key
Brand new Angel snares went for around $1200
