This is an E serial Fender Japanese Precision bass made in the FujiGen factory between 1984-1987. The body has some paint chips. The neck is in great shape. The headstock also has some dings. The electronics are original. The trussrod turns. The frets have plenty of life left. The neck heel is stamped PB 562, and the neck pocket is stamped PB 557, which is not unusual as they often mixed parts during manufacture. The bass sounds killer. It would be a great candidate for a refin or a workhorse on gigs without having to worry too much about more dings or theft. Currently strung with La Bella flats.
