I've been buying/selling on another site for just shy of a quarter century.

400+ sales. 1850+ FB. 100% positive. Plenty of receipts,so there are no worries.

Absolutely none since my thing is pay immediately as a buyer.

As a seller,excellent comms on shipping status,over-pack everything like glass & ship as fast as humanly possible(the buyer side of me likes when that happens. No ship days are meh!). Usually within' the hour once a sale clears.

If there's ever an issue,even if it's on the shipping Co. I gladly go so far over the top to a fault with the multi-faceted extras I throw in to make up for it,that it becomes a positive barring any damage to the item.

This is a serious listing and a very personal choice since the guitar you love becomes part of your arm IME.

I LOVE this guitar and everything listed. It just makes sense at this point in my gear slinging life to put together a very special one of a kind RR package and pass it on to another tone connoisseur.

Here we go...

1. ONE Gibson Custom Shop Randy Rhoads VOS (Vintage Original Spec.) 1974 Les Paul Custom! Extremely limited run of 200 guitars. This VOS is In excellent condition. I am the second owner. The frets have just been professionally dressed,including a full set-up with Elixir PolyWeb 9-42 strings by the masters at Rainbow Music located in Tucson AZ. This amazing Ax was in unplayed condition when I got it.

This Custom Shop RR VOS has been played by me in a climate controlled studio setting,never gigged. Just some good honest playing wear that i'm fully responsible for. So I can break it all down accurately from headstock to body for you.

The 1 of 200 VOS guitars are basically Randy's 1974 LP Custom if it were new. Randy had changed the tuners,so the GCS replaced the originals,but also included the original tuner's mounting screw holes.

The screws etc. are aged as well.

On the top of the headstock there are 2 small areas of wear from going on and off the wall hanger. Superficial Nothing that affects the tone.

The neck! Fits like a glove. Plays like butter. So comfortable from 1 to 22.

Frets are in awesome condition and dressed beautifully. Ebony board well oiled from a lot of playing.

The Gibson Custom Shop CRUSHED IT with this build! There's something magical going on with THIS 3-piece Mahogany/Maple/Mahogany "pancake" (period correct '70's sandwich construction) body and THESE Custom "Super '74" HB pickups w/Alnico 3 magnets! SMH it just smokes all my other guitars,past & present. This RR VOS is a Tone Monster I've consistently reached for daily. I got much better as a player thanks to this Rhoads VOS Custom since it plays so nice and sounds amazing! When it sounds good it is good!

There's a small bit of finish checking by the vol/tone knobs cant notice unless you really look,but i try to cover all. Gorgeous aged cream patina on the body.

There's an area on the lower body where my right arm rests as I pick that's been worn from cream to white. It looks great IMO! I was so proud when I noticed it since it's all me lol. And in the actual spot there'd be natural wear(unlike many relic'd guitars). I play a lot of different guitars so to have noticeable wear on one I've played so consistently is pretty cool.

There's a pin head size ding in the binding (2 pics close up) that isn't noticeable looking at the guitar from the front,and well hidden.

Overall excellent cosmetic and structural shape. 25 pics isn't even enuff for a detailed guitar listing IME. Let alone a pkg.

There should be a big gouge in the body,not a tiny ding (no break in the binding) due to the telescoping guitar stand I was dealing with. I always crank down the screws,but apparently not this time!

The neck piece started sliding out towards the guitar. Slow motion nightmare "Nooooooo!" as I do what I can to deflect the piece of metal,throw the rest of the stand down,baby and examine the Rhoads!

NO WAY! That's all that happened! It's a MIRACLE! 😁

I call this beauty "Miracle" for a few reasons. That being one! No buckle rash or button scrapes in back of body.

The original GCS case (made in Canada) with Randy's fascimile sig. is in excellent condition. All case candy,papers,original retail hang tags,RR certificate,gold strap locks,original pickguard still with the sticker on it and the original mounting bracket and the hardware for the original pickguard are all included.

2. ONE Original Randy Rhoads guitar lessons era business. This one pre-dates RR's Quiet Riot days! Randy began teaching in roughly 1972-73 @ 16 yrs old. This amazing specimen was handed to the original owner by Mrs. Delores "Dee" Rhoads during a tour at the Rhoads Musonia school of music.

Comes with protective sleeve and screw acrylic hard case.

If I can track down the original receipt I'll include it as well. Fell into my lap out of nowhere,so another very cool and unique miracle.

3. ONE MXR Randy Rhoads Distortion + Special Edition Concorde finish pedal in Out Of Box excellent+ condition. Screams w/ the RR VOS! Very light use. I opened three sides of the cellophane so its a flap if you want to keep the packaging original as possible.

4. TWO Randy Rhoads Rock Walk induction commemorative guitar picks in Black and White. Mrs. Dee,Zakk and many more in attendance.

5. Two 24x36 RR Posters with his '74 Les Paul Custom live. One B & W the other color,signed by the photographer Jay Banbury in silver paint sharpie. Frame not included. Posters will ship in poster tubes. They're Killer inspirado for the woodshed IME.

That's all 28 items! A beautiful,what I call "functioning art" (guitars,cool finish pedals etc.) tribute to one of the greatest and most influential. Taken way too soon! RIP RR.

I'll also be including the Bog Street Mini Beast! THE pick that ended most all my pick control (dropping,slipping,spinning etc.) woes after decades of trying many different picks.

Using The Mini Beast regularly improved my flat pick grip/strength exponentially (partial to Jazz 2's & 3's,but cycle thru and experiment on many) and quite naturally once i got used to it (still can't dial in that stylus pick tho. It's me, not the pick! 😁). I'm including 4 different gauges of mini beast. May they serve you well!
