Amazing amp, but the time has come to make some room and try something new.
I have had the MC, MTL, and Hellrazer…they all do the wizard thing at different levels of gain and flavor. Personally I’m landing on the HR as a modern metal player but the MC run the full range. Low gain rock tones, lead tones, and if you use an external boost it gets to metal territory easily.
This is was looked over by a tech as it runs HOT and mighty. No issues, the tech found the transformers were pushing more around 120w instead of 100w as advertised. Part of the mojo and fierce raw tone this specific MC has.
These wizard amps seem to go up year after year now between new and used pricing.
