The DW 14" Acrylic “Coke Bottle” snare is a large, visually distinctive acrylic snare drum, typically referring to a 14" diameter x 8" deep shell with a tinted clear/amber acrylic finish resembling the color of a Coca-Cola bottle.

One important distinction: “Coke Bottle” isn't necessarily the official DW model name. There are DW acrylic snares, while some drums advertised as “DW Coke Bottle” are actually RCI-made acrylic shells fitted with DW hardware. RCI has produced acrylic shells for DW, and examples of 14" “Coke Bottle” snares are documented as RCI Starlite drums.

DW's current acrylic snares use seamless acrylic shells; for example, its Design Series 14" models use a 5 mm acrylic shell, MAG throw-off and True-Pitch tuning.
