Offered for sale is a vintage 1990s Fernandes TEB-1 4-string electric bass, Made in Japan, featuring a distinctive Tele-style body, gloss black finish, natural wood pickguard, and gold hardware.

This Japanese-made Fernandes features a versatile P/J pickup configuration, combining a split-coil Precision-style neck pickup with a Jazz-style bridge pickup. Three control knobs provide straightforward passive volume/volume/tone operation.

The bass has a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot position markers, 21 frets, Fernandes-branded headstock, vintage-style open-gear tuners, and a substantial Fernandes-branded 4-saddle bridge.

The gold hardware and natural wood pickguard provide a particularly attractive contrast against the gloss black body.

Condition:

Good vintage/pre-owned condition with normal cosmetic wear from age and use. The glossy black finish shows surface scratches and handling marks, along with several noticeable finish chips/dings around the body edges. The gold hardware shows age-related wear, discoloration and tarnishing.

The natural wood pickguard also shows normal signs of age and use. The neck and fingerboard present well overall for their age.
