1970 AMPEG V4 100 Watt Tube Guitar Amp With Original 4 X 12" Cabinet

Attn: Description Revised!!! 1970 AMPEG V4 100-watt tube amp with original 4 X 12" speaker cabinet containing the original CTS 12" speakers. I purchased this amp new from an Ampeg dealer in 1972 and have been the sole owner. The manufacturing date was June of 1970. Was heavily gigged in the 70s and 80s. Been in the garage for 40+ years. Not in great cosmetic condition, as the script on the faceplate is showing signs of age. Cleaning the faceplate might remove the printed script. The electronics is in great shape. The 3 main filter capacitors are in good shape and within values. All components have been checked for tolerance issues. A few of the control pots might be a bit scratchy during adjustments. All tubes are good. The CTS speakers are in great condition. I misplaced the original speaker cable, so I made a new, heavy-duty speaker cable for it. There is no footswitch for the reverb. Comes with a matched quad of Sovtek 7027A power tubes. This amp was used as a guitar amp and bass amp. IT IS A LOUD BEAST!!! Still a great amp after decades. Local pickup only, unless you contact me about wanting to have it shipped (the amp head weighs about 68 pounds and the cab is 75 pounds). If buyer is willing to pay for shipping, they can message me.
