Up for grabs is a genuine vintage BOSS OD-1 OverDrive — the pedal that started it all and basically invented the modern overdrive category back in 1977. This is the real deal, not a reissue: chunky housing, long-throw jacks, and that unmistakable warm, dynamic grit that later OD pedals only wish they could nail.
Tonally, the OD-1 sits in its own lane — smoother and more "tube-amp-pushed" than the OD-3 or SD-1, with a thick low-mid presence and a natural compression that cleans up beautifully with your guitar's volume knob. Classic blues crunch, vintage rock grind, or just good 'ol bullying a clean amp into breakup, this thing delivers that legendary Boss chewy midrange in spades.
