I’m selling my MXR Rockman X100, and it’s in excellent condition. It’s fully functional and has only been played a couple times.

This is a really cool piece of ’80s guitar history. The X100 has that unmistakable Rockman sound — compressed, saturated, and very polished, with a tight low end and a bright, singing upper-midrange. It’s got that processed, almost studio-recorded quality that makes single notes jump out and gives chords a really even, controlled feel.

The distortion has plenty of sustain without getting overly loose or fuzzy, and there’s a nice focus in the mids that helps lead lines cut through. It’s especially cool for ’80s rock, melodic lead playing, clean-ish compressed tones, and anyone looking for that classic Boston/Def Leppard-era rack-and-headphone sound.

It’s a pretty unique piece of gear, and it’s got a character that’s hard to duplicate with a modern overdrive or distortion pedal.

The pedal doesn’t come with the original box or packaging.
