I’m selling my Soldano SLO, and it’s in excellent condition. It’s fully functional and has only seen light use since it’s never made it outside the bedroom.

This thing has a serious amount of gain on tap. The SLO has that tight, saturated high-gain sound you’d expect from a Soldano, with a thick low end, aggressive upper mids, and a smooth top end that keeps the distortion from getting harsh.

The gain has a really nice combination of saturation and definition. Palm-muted riffs stay tight and punchy, while lead tones have plenty of sustain and compression without turning into a mushy wall of distortion. There’s also enough articulation in the mids that you can still hear individual notes when you’re playing chords with a lot of gain.

It’s especially good if you’re after that classic hot-rodded Marshall/Soldano-style sound — big, saturated rhythm tones, singing leads, and plenty of sustain. Backing the gain down also gives you a really usable overdriven sound that responds well to your picking dynamics.
