Flat Bottom vs Curved Bottom

This is a flat-bottom nut and is generally suitable for many Strat, Tele and similar style guitars manufactured overseas.

It is not suitable as a direct replacement for curved-bottom nuts commonly found on some US- and Mexico-made Fender guitars.

Please check the bottom shape of your existing nut before purchasing.

42mm vs 43mm

The difference between 42mm and 43mm is small, so it is important to measure your existing nut or check your guitar's specifications before ordering.

A 43mm nut may provide slightly wider string spacing and can also allow additional material to be sanded from the ends for a more precise neck fit.

Important Installation Note

Pre-shaped guitar nuts are generally not drop-in replacements. Some sanding, shimming or slot filing may be required to achieve the correct fit, string height and spacing.
