Purchased brand new from official retailer. Kept in a Pelican case when not in use. Zero issues, pretty much near mint. Includes the original box and so on, just like a brand new unit.
It's my favorite analog synth I've ever owned. I sold my Moog Sub37 before I even thought of selling the Malevolent. There's really nothing quite like it! The whopping 6x FM connections are an underrated feature. It excels at Mick Gordon type sound design, and all manner of nasty/weird/aggressive styles. It *can* do pretty sounds and typical analog synth stuff, but it's really hyper-optimized for "face-melting filthy bass/lead" type sounds.
