The SansAmp Classic is a true classic in analog amp simulation, originally launched in 1989 and virtually unchanged since: it analogically reproduces the entire preamp, power amp, and speaker chain, allowing you to get excellent sound directly into a mixing console, interface, or PA system. It offers three preamp types (Lead/Marshall, Normal/Mesa-Boogie, and Bass/Fender) and, most importantly, eight Character micro-switches that allow you to modify the midrange, gain, treble, and the character of the tubes and speaker. Highly versatile, it works equally well with guitar and bass and remains particularly popular in the studio for its warm, dynamic, and natural tones.
