1973 Ampeg B-15S Portaflex “Flip Top” amplifier! This one is a bit of a rare variation of the B-15. It boasts 60 Watts, two channels and a three-way “voicing” switch. This is a comparable design feature of the V4B featuring “Guitar”, “Flat” and “Bass” as frequency selections. It paired with its original 1x15” cab housing an original JBL K140! Amplifier has been fully serviced, starting with a complete electrolytic recap, any out of spec resistors replaced, deep cleaning of all switches, potentiometers, inputs and tube sockets, lastly it received a new pair of matched 7027’s and a fresh bias adjustment! It’s a beast and sounds absolutely incredible! With guitar or bass it can push some really loud and full bodied cleans! It can also drive really well when pushed with the guitar frequency! This amp is definitely a studio workhorse! It’s great for just about every style of music and or instrument you can play through it!
