This 1959 Gibson LG-3 features the simple appointments and compact body that give the model its understated character. The spruce top and mahogany back and sides produce the dry, balanced response associated with Gibson’s small-bodied flat-tops of this period. Replacement tuners have been installed, while the guitar shows several dings across the top and plenty of finish checking consistent with its age. Overall, it remains in good vintage condition and is a straightforward example of a late-’50s Gibson acoustic.Includes modern hard shell case.
