2018 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue R8 – Bourbon Burst – OHSC + Case Candy
Up for sale is my 2018 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue (R8) in a gorgeous Bourbon Burst finish.
This is an especially attractive R8 with a very pronounced figured/flame maple top. The figuring has a ton of movement and changes considerably depending on the lighting and viewing angle. It has much more character than the typical plain-top R8.
The guitar is in excellent overall condition with minor honest play wear. There are a few small marks/dings consistent with normal use, but no major damage. The mahogany back and neck are particularly clean. The nickel hardware has developed some tasteful aging that complements the vintage look.
The guitar plays and sounds exactly like you would expect from a good Custom Shop Historic Les Paul.
