Service & Upgrades
- New transport belt fitted
- Transport fully rebuilt and serviced
- Tape heads checked and aligned
- Electronic calibration completed using proper test tapes
- Bias calibrated for TDK SA Type II tape
- Mixer cleaned and fully tested
- New Nichicon Fine Gold capacitors installed throughout the audio paths
- Main line-output op amps and BBE board upgraded to NJM4580s for excellent low-noise performance
- Mixer knobs replaced with TASCAM 424 MkIII-style plastic knobs
- Includes 1 × new Sony CDix Type II blank cassette tape
- 230V power — unit can be configured for 100–240V before postage if required
The unit is in good cosmetic condition with some minor marks and scratches, no cracks or major dents.
As with any vintage equipment, it is sold as-is. However, demos are available for genuine buyers. I can also provide audio/video recordings of specific functions or tests upon request.
