Selling my Pro-Ject Tube Box S phono preamp. This has been a fantastic little unit and is a great option for anyone looking to get into a quality tube phono stage without spending big money.
It comes with the original tubes from the factory. It has a quiet, clean presentation with the warmth and dynamics you'd hope for from a tube phono stage, and I've been very impressed with what it does for the money.
The unit was used inside a glass enclosure, so it was protected from dust and has been very well cared for. It is in excellent condition and works as it should.
The Tube Box S supports both MM and MC cartridges and offers adjustable loading/gain settings, making it a surprisingly flexible phono stage for the price.
I no longer have the original manual, but the manufacturer's manual is readily available online and is easy to follow for setting the unit up. -
