Up for sale is a gorgeous, fully functioning 1956 Gibson GA-5 Les Paul Junior tube amplifier. Sporting serial number 8752, this mid-50s tone machine is Gibson’s legendary answer to the Fender Tweed Champ.This amp delivers 5 watts of pure, touch-sensitive Class A tube tone. It features the highly desirable 1950s circuit running a 6SJ7 preamp tube, 6V6 power tube, and 5Y3 rectifier. It still retains its unique, original 5x7 elliptical speaker which gives it that distinct, gritty vintage breakup that recording engineers love.
