Apogee Ensemble FireWire professional audio interface in very good cosmetic condition, complete with original box.

This unit has been part of my personal, climate-controlled home recording studio and was used as part of my professional music-production setup. I am now selling it as part of the liquidation of that studio.

The original Ensemble was one of Apogee’s flagship multichannel interfaces, featuring 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs, including four mic preamps, along with ADAT/optical and S/PDIF digital I/O, dual headphone outputs and Apogee’s high-quality AD/DA conversion.

Important compatibility note: This is the original FireWire version of the Apogee Ensemble, not the later Thunderbolt model. Prospective buyers should confirm compatibility with their particular computer, operating system and FireWire configuration before purchasing.

The unit powers on normally as shown in the photographs. [ADD ONLY IF TRUE: It was fully functional when last used in my studio.] Because I no longer have the original computer/FireWire setup in operation, I have not recently tested every input, output and software function.

Cosmetically, the unit shows normal signs of studio use consistent with its age. Please examine the photographs carefully for its exact condition.

Original factory box is included.
