For sale is a complete AMS Neve 8816 analog summing system with matching Neve 8804 fader pack and the 8816 ADC/digital option, including the external power supply and interconnect cable shown in the photos.

This is an excellent way to add genuine Neve analog summing and hands-on control to a hybrid studio. The 8816 provides 16 channels of analog summing along with extensive monitoring, routing and insert capabilities, while the matching 8804 provides 16 physical channel faders plus stereo master faders.

This 8816 is also equipped with the ADC/digital functionality, with the rear panel providing AES/DSD digital output, word-clock connectivity and ADC insert connections.

Professional Service History

The complete 8816/8804 system was professionally serviced by Greg Granieri at Audio Rehab, Inc. in Burbank, California in 2021.

The service addressed synchronization between the 8816 and 8804. The master/slave switches in both units were cleaned, and the interconnect cable connector was reinforced. The technician also investigated a previously reported Channel 8 concern but was unable to reproduce the issue during service/testing.

Condition

The system is in very good overall used condition with normal cosmetic wear from professional studio and rack use.

There are scratches and marks on the metal chassis, particularly the top cover of the 8816, which are clearly shown in the photos. The front panels, controls, knobs and faders present well overall.

Please review all photos carefully, as they show the actual equipment being sold and form part of the condition description.

The 8816 and 8804 have been tested together and are functioning properly.
