If you’re looking for a custom Twin that’s better than the original, this amp is for you. This hand-wired amp made by Jim Nickelson at Li’l Dawg is an amazing tweed clone that will blow your face off. It has an authentic Fender Twin faceplate, but inside it’s fully custom. It's the loudest 20 watts I've ever heard.
Upgraded with a matching set of “Holy Grail” 1975 RCA 6L6GC power tubes, this amp roars with clean power. Modeled after the legendary late-1950s Fender 5E8-A "Low Power Tweed Twin" circuit, it delivers classic 1950s high-powered tweed tone, touch sensitivity, and incredible dynamics. The #1 rectifier tubes has been removed to make this thing a little more manageable in the volume department. If you know you know.
