- Working as intended - Full Frequency Response (tested against other vintage SM7's)
- Yoke Mount functions properly
- Cuts through the mix better compared to the modern SM7B, less muffled when used on voice in my experience
For sale, a vintage SM7 that is working and sounding wonderful! This microphone has no loss in bass frequencies and has a nice smooth treble response which works beautifully for a ton of different sources. I honestly can’t get over how good the original SM7s sound when they’re working as they should. This is the model I always find myself coming back to, easy on the ears, yet it still cuts through a mix. When Shure started cutting costs on later versions, something was lost. That original magic and sparkle just wasn't quite the same anymore.
This microphone is all original and the yoke mount has all the parts to hold the microphone in position well. Often times the yoke mount does not hold properly and these older Shure SM7's have that issue from either wear and tear, or owners losing pieces. Cosmetically in nice shape with a small dent near the end of the grille.
Ships insured in case of loss or damage sustained after shipment.
