This 1974 Martin D-12-35 is a beautiful vintage 12-string acoustic offering the rich, shimmering tone and impressive projection that have made this model a longtime favorite. Built with a solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides, it delivers a full, balanced voice with deep lows, sparkling highs, and the lush natural chorus that makes a great 12-string so captivating.
This used example is in good condition for its age, with minimal cosmetic wear considering its more than 50 years of use. The guitar does have a previously repaired crack, which was professionally repaired in-house and rebraced by our technician. It plays well and sounds great for a 1970s Martin, with plenty of the warm, resonant character these vintage 12-strings are known for. Please note that this model does not feature a truss rod. The distinctive three-piece rosewood back, classic Martin appointments, and beautifully aged tonewoods give this guitar unmistakable vintage character. A great choice for a player or collector looking for a vintage Martin 12-string with plenty of character and musical life left in it.
