Up for sale is a Roland MC-80EX Micro Composer in excellent working condition. This is one of the most desirable configurations of Roland’s flagship hardware MIDI sequencer, equipped with several sought-after upgrades.

The VE-GSPro board transforms the MC-80EX into a complete sequencing workstation by adding Roland’s GS sound engine, making it capable of sequencing and playing back arrangements without requiring an external sound module.

The upgraded blue display is a major improvement over the aging original display, providing excellent readability and eliminating one of the most common maintenance issues found on these units.

The internal Zip drive provides convenient project storage while retaining the classic workflow that many longtime Roland users appreciate. The original floppy drive is also installed.

The unit has been carefully stored in a smoke-free home studio and is in very good cosmetic condition with normal signs of use consistent with its age. All controls function properly, and it boots and operates as expected.
