Vintage Selmer Handmade Solid Sterling Silver Flute Open Hole w/ Offset G C Foot

This listing is for a vintage silver handmade flute made by Selmer in Elkhart, Indiana. These are essentially a Haynes Commercial flute in specs and quality featuring solid silver construction throughout (silver keys also), gold springs, open hole mechanism with Y-arms, closed G#, offset G, Bb trill, drawn (not rolled) toneholes and C foot. Overall length is around 440hz but tuning lengths are a little bit odd. Needs full overhaul (all pads are popped and replacement of the A pad bushing) plus the usual polishing & cleaning. These open hole models are very hard to find (we've seen less than 5 in 23yrs.) No case is included.

Overall length: 26 1/2in (673.1mm)
Center of embouchure hole to C# tonehole center: 9 1/4in (234.95mm)
Center of emb hole to end of foot: 23 13/16in (604.84mm)

Body toneholes measured identically with a 440hz flute in C but the embouchure hole distance was a few mm too long (possibly headjoint can be cut/sanded down to work in 440hz properly.
