The BOSS HF-2 Hi Band Flanger is one of the more distinctive modulation pedals from the golden era of Boss Japan. Rather than applying flanging across the full frequency spectrum, the HF-2 focuses on the upper frequencies, producing a bright, shimmering jet plane sweep while keeping the low end tight and articulate.

Built in Japan in 1989, this Green Label example features the sought after original analog circuit. With a comparatively short production run and a unique sound that has never been faithfully recreated by Boss, the HF-2 has become increasingly desirable amongst collectors and players looking for something beyond the standard BF-2 style flanger.
