Serial 171,xxx. This horn has 90% original lacquer. I am only the second owner. I purchased it from a very reputable shop that sells a lot of Mark VI’s. They got it from its original owner, who was a Navy bandsman stationed in Europe and bought it directly from Selmer Paris. The horn is in wonderful shape. The neck is original and has never been bent down. The bow is the only part that has been relacquered. The original owner bent the bow a little and had that join relacquered to cover up the repair. You cannot see the dent repair so it must have been very minor and done well. The sax has a lot of new pads and is dealing well. The horn plays great from top to bottom. It comes with a top of the line brand new Bam Cabine Panther case.
