BOSS PQ-4 Parametric Equalizer is a rare and powerful EQ pedal released in 1991 and discontinued in 1997. Unlike graphic EQs, it offers **4-band parametric control**—LOW, MIDDLE, HIGH, and PRESENCE—with adjustable frequency ranges for MIDDLE (100Hz–1.6kHz) and HIGH (500Hz–8kHz), and fixed bands for LOW (below 100Hz) and PRESENCE (above 8kHz).
