In vendita un bellissimo Fender Precision Bass PB-62 Reissue Made in Japan, strumento appartenente alla celebre e ricercata produzione Fender Japan di fine anni ’80 / primi anni ’90, considerata la “golden era” del Made in Japan. Prodotto negli storici stabilimenti Fujigen, questo periodo è particolarmente apprezzato per l’elevata qualità costruttiva, l’accuratezza delle finiture e l’eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo delle produzioni MIJ Fender.

Questo PB-62 Reissue, seriale I005693, è stato prodotto tra il 1989 e il 1990 e ripropone fedelmente le caratteristiche estetiche e timbriche del classico Precision Bass anni ’60, con tastiera in palissandro e sonorità calda, profonda e molto equilibrata, tipica dei migliori Precision Bass vintage-style. Uno strumento estremamente versatile, adatto a numerosi contesti musicali, dal rock al blues, dal funk al pop fino alle produzioni più moderne.

Il basso si presenta in buone condizioni estetiche e funzionali. Sono presenti alcuni normali segni del tempo e dell’utilizzo, perfettamente coerenti con l’età dello strumento, ma nulla di realmente significativo o particolarmente evidente. Sul retro del manico sono presenti alcune piccole incisioni raffiguranti lettere giapponesi: risultano quasi impercettibili e visibili solamente osservando attentamente lo strumento da vicino.

Lo strumento è stato recentemente controllato e settato prima della messa in vendita, monta corde nuove ed è stato inoltre realizzato un nuovo capotasto in osso, migliorando stabilità, precisione e resa generale dello strumento.

For sale is a beautiful Fender Precision Bass PB-62 Reissue Made in Japan, a highly sought-after instrument from the renowned late ’80s / early ’90s Fender Japan production era, widely considered the true “golden era” of Made in Japan instruments. Built at the historic Fujigen factory, instruments from this period are especially appreciated for their outstanding build quality, attention to detail, and excellent value for money among MIJ Fender productions.

This PB-62 Reissue, serial number I005693, was produced between 1989 and 1990 and faithfully recreates the aesthetic and tonal characteristics of a classic 1960s Precision Bass, featuring a rosewood fingerboard and the warm, deep, and extremely balanced tone typical of the best vintage-style Precision Basses. An exceptionally versatile instrument, perfectly suited for a wide range of musical styles including rock, blues, funk, pop, and more modern productions.

The bass is in good cosmetic and functional condition. There are some normal signs of age and use, fully consistent with the instrument’s age, but nothing particularly significant or visually distracting. On the back of the neck there are a few small engravings depicting Japanese characters: they are almost imperceptible and only visible upon close inspection.

The instrument has recently been professionally checked and set up prior to sale, fitted with new strings, and upgraded with a newly made bone nut, improving tuning stability, precision, and overall performance.
