This example from 1994 has been upgraded in order to have a more overall vintage look. All the original parts are included as well.
It sounds and plays absolutely incredible and apart from having a super comfortable neck shape and size, this instrument resonates and sustains beautifully. The pickups are very balanced and they maintain an impressive clarity and dynamics.
Regarding the modifications, I swapped the TP-6 tailpiece and the Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge for a classic lightweight nickel stoptail and a Faber ABR-1 that have been aged to match the overall patina of the faded gold pickup covers. Moreover, the big black speed knobs have been replaced with some 1960 replica aged reflectors knobs.
Just by upgrading and changing these parts, the guitar now has definitely a more vintage kind of vibe but at the same time it retains all the elegance that the Lucille model is well known for.
The instrument has been played and shows some honest wear mostly on the back of the body.
It will come with a professional packaging and set up, polished frets (which are in very good condition) and perfectly cleaned with a new fresh set of strings.
