The 707 has been at the top of the 7-string guitar pickup lineup since its debut in 2001. The EMG 707 solved the issue of a muddy low B string that often lacked rich harmonic character and definition.

Equipped with wide-aperture coils loaded with Alnico V magnets, EMG was able to enhance the tone of the low B string while maintaining a balanced and articulate upper register. This provided the tight, responsive sound that 7-string players have come to love.

Whether you're playing Opeth-style jazz chords or palm-muted death metal chugs, these pickups will articulate every note, chord, and harmonic you demand from them. Used equally in both bridge and neck positions, these pickups will forever change the way you hear and play your 7-string guitar.
