The Kala KA-CT-SA-BG from the Contour series is a high-quality baritone ukulele featuring an all-solid construction and an elegant design. The top, back and sides are made of solid acacia and are effectively highlighted by a high-gloss natural finish. Visual highlights include the rosewood binding, the two-tone Eclipse wooden rosette and the open-back headstock with open tuners and black tuning pegs. A special feature is the contoured armrest, which blends harmoniously into the instrument’s elegant appearance. A matching gig bag is included as standard for safe transport.

The all-solid acacia construction gives the Kala KA-CT-SA-BG a full and balanced tonal character. The larger body volume of the baritone design provides a powerful foundation and a warm response, whilst the acacia ensures clarity and presence. This allows both full-sounding chords and individual melodic lines to come into their own. As a result, the baritone ukulele is equally well-suited to strumming, fingerstyle playing and accompanying vocals.

As well as its sound, the ukulele impresses with its high level of playing comfort. The mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard provides a comfortable foundation for playing chords and melodies, whilst the 19 frets offer plenty of scope for musical expression. Shimmering fretboard inlays make it easier to find your way around whilst also emphasising the instrument’s high-quality appearance. Additional comfort is provided by the contoured armrest, which ensures a comfortable resting place for the strumming arm.
