*Serviced* 1960's Beyerdynamic M69n (rare Strässer M17N label) Dynamic Microphone Strasser Beyer

Rare Strässer M17 N dynamic microphone. You probably already know that this is a re-brand of a Beyerdynamic M69 N, during their classic period of production (60's/70's).

The M69 is much like the famous Beyerdynamic M88, but with less proximity effect, and less deep low end. It's a microphone that really details midrange frequencies in a beautiful way.

These are excellent vocal mics, and excellent guitar cab mics. You can find Heart singing into these in some classic videos. Great for micing all kinds of electric things besides guitars too. (Wurli, Rhodes, any amp signal, bass cab that doesn't need boosted low end). Again, awesome vocal mic too!

This one has been opened up and serviced. Cleaned internally and had a new silk screen put in the grill. While some online forums talk about internal foam for these, this one either had foam that was already cleaned out long ago when I got it, or it never had foam, which from the looks of the inside seems more likely to me. I elected to use 100% natural silk as an internal windscreen, which shields wind well while allowing a full frequency spectrum in.

Ships with large tuchel tail, or please inquire if you'd like the jack converted to XLR, which is also possible.
