While 10", 12", and 13" toms appear from time to time, the 8x8" square-sized tom is a true unicorn on the market. ✔️

This is the ultimate find for Sonor collectors and vintage German craftsmanship enthusiasts. The Force 3000 series was the last legendary mid-to-high line completely manufactured in Bad Berleburg, Germany, featuring premium 9-ply Scandinavian Birch shells (7.5 mm thick) with cross-laminated technology (CLTF), 45-degree bearing edges. ✔️

Key Features & Highlights:

Virgin Shell (Undrilled): This drum has NO factory tom mount bracket drilled into the shell. It features only a standard air grommet above the badge. This configuration is extremely scarce for this era and allows the birch shell to resonate freely with maximum depth and sustain. ✔️

Ultra-Rare 8" Size: The 8"x8" format was never a part of standard shell packs and had to be special-ordered individually back in the 90s. ✔️

All-Original Hardware: Comes with original high-tension chrome tube lugs and iconic Sonor slotted tension rods. ✔️

Serial Number: 14794 (Stamped on the flawless gold foil badge), confirming an early 1990-1991 production run. ✔️

The tom is Very Good cosmetic and functional condition. The pristine Snow White lacquer finish looks bright and beautiful. The chrome work is clean with minimal signs of aging .
