I’m offering for sale my Vox-O-Rama Type 47 Long Body, hand-built by Andreas Grosser (Berlin).

This microphone is in excellent cosmetic and technical condition and has been used exclusively in my professional smoke-free recording studio. It has always been handled with great care and performs flawlessly.

The Long Body version equipped with the original Neumann K47 capsule, VF14 ER replacement tube and GN107 transformers represents one of the most desirable Andreas Grosser U47 builds. The GN107 transformers, together with the original K47 capsule and the VF14 ER tube, provide an exceptionally deep, open and three-dimensional soundstage while retaining the unmistakable vintage U47 character.

These microphones were built in very limited numbers and rarely appear on the market today, especially in this complete and well-preserved condition.

This microphone has been used exclusively in a professional recording studio and has always been carefully maintained.
