It spreads the cpu workload over an addition 4 processors. It works alongside any existing UAD hardware, pooling its DSP with whatever you already have connected. Condition: Perfect working condition when last used not long ago, though can't test anymore as have moved onto later generation of Mac. Cosmetically in great nick, a couple of minor marks on the top.Please note: This is Firewire connectivity — compatible with Intel Macs with native Firewire ports or via Apple's Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter on Thunderbolt 1/2 Intel Macs. Not compatible with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) Macs.No plugin bundles included — hardware only.
