The Huss & Dalton CM-12 Custom is an artistic and elegant guitar that was a showpiece for the 2026 Fretboard Summit recently. Built with premium Quilted Maple back and sides paired with a clean Italian Spruce top with silky medullary rays with matching Flamed Maple neck and full bindings. The CM 12-fret short scale cutaway configuration allows easy access to the upper frets yet maintains the power, so what you really get is a deep-bodied 000. Similar in size to Huss & Dalton’s 000 but with a 15 1/4” body width and 4 5/8” body depth- a 1/4” and 1/2” larger respectively, this deep body lap guitar is comfortable to play with the shorter scale length and 1 3/4″ nut.
