The DrumBrute Impact is a fully analog drum machine, particularly prized for its big, punchy, and aggressive sound. It offers 10 analog sounds—kick, two snares, toms, hi-hats, cymbal, cowbell, and an FM sound—with a Color control to transform the character of each instrument, as well as built-in analog distortion on the main output. Its 64-step sequencer offers accents, swing, polyrhythm, random, roller, and looper effects, with the ability to chain patterns to create complete tracks. It also features separate MIDI, USB, and Sync outputs, making it very easy to integrate into a hardware setup or studio. Its greatest strength is truly its sonic character: it's less versatile than a digital drum machine, but much more immediate and organic, particularly effective for techno, electro, rock, and 80s/industrial sounds.
