Beautiful French vintage Bb trumpet, circa 1940.
Engraved with Mastertone Deluxe on the bell.
Silver-plated, classic small 3-valve construction.
Condition:
• Valves and slides move smoothly
• Almost no air leaks
• Plays well and is responsive
• Normal wear on the silver plating (consistent with age)
• “76” stamp on the valve casing
• checked by professional horn player, and he thinks it’s very good!
A characterful French instrument with a bright, typically French sound. Ideal as a second trumpet, for jazz, or for someone looking for a playable vintage horn.
