Concert fingerboard adapted for modern playing (thicker than the original) - see photos, fingerboard extends beyond the soundhole - concert-specific, allowing the use of modern strings.

Spruce top

21 Indian rosewood ribs

Brass tuners

Entirely original except for the fingerboard, which has been adapted for concert playing (see above).

Tortoiseshell and celluloid decoration, Art Deco style, leather trim on the top edge…

Bright, powerful, and melodic sound of the period, of a quality far superior to modern sounds. Betyter quality and sound than all new mandolins !

Aside from some minor wear due to its age, the instrument is in excellent condition and ready to play, for professionals or amateurs alike.
