Presenting: Inside Travis Barker's Studio
Travis Barker is a musician's musician.
While perhaps most well-known as pop punk royalty, gaining mainstream success as the drummer of Blink-182 in the late '90s and continuing to drum for the band today, that was just the tip of the iceberg for Barker.
After Blink's first breakup in the early 2000s, he went on to form pop punk side projects Box Car Racer with Tom DeLonge and +44 with Mark Hoppus and the genre-bending supergroup, Transplants, with Rob Aston and Rancid's Tim Armstrong.
Later, Barker forayed into rap, hip hop, and EDM collaborating with artists like Kid Cudi, Run the Jewels, Steve Aoki, XXXTentacion, and Post Malone. Most recently, Barker has produced albums for and played drums on records for more recent pop punk artists like Willow, Halsey, Machine Gun Kelly, and Avril Lavigne.
Travis was kind enough to invite us into his Waiting Room studio recently to check out some of the go-to gear that he uses to craft these records and to learn more about his process.
Travis Barker's Official Reverb Shop has been restocked with gear and memorabilia from the drumming legend's personal collection. Check out what's on offer and pick up a piece of punk history.
