At the heart of its punchy voice is an 11-inch steel alloy tone ring paired with an 11-inch Remo HC smooth head, a notched tension hoop, and a Straightline tailpiece. For live stage performances, the banjitar comes factory-equipped with a unique Gold Tone SMP Sliding Magnetic Pickup. This specialised pickup delivers full-range, hum-free fidelity from the low E string up to the highest frets, allowing players to slide the pickup along the internal mounting track to fine-tune their amplified tone. Guitar-Style Neck Geometry & Heavy-Duty Hardware The maple neck features a player-friendly radiused rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets and intricate snowflake position inlays. A standard 1-11/16 inch ZeroGlide nut provides familiar guitar-style string spacing and helps eliminate string binding at the headstock, working in tandem with sealed guitar-style tuning machines with B-style buttons.
